FAQs - Frequently asked questions (contact us if the answer isn't here)
How much are tickets? £10 per person for the whole weekend, whether you camp or stay one day. We've kept it simple and cheap as this is our first festival.
Who can come? Anyone! The festival has been created with people who have a learning disability or additional needs. If that means you need some help or support, just make sure everyone has a ticket. Please leave your furry friends at home (except registered assistance dogs) as the farm has livestock and wildlife around it.
How big is this year's festival? We're only selling 50 tickets this year, but with festival staff, volunteers, craftspeople and musicians milling about, it'll be small but perfectly formed! There will be several small tents and stages around and if the weather gets bad, we'll decamp to the Old Chapel itself!
Is the site accessible? Yes and no. The site is down a one track lane and has a car park. You then go down a slope to the main field. Some areas are steep, but with enough will (safety first!) we can get people to most areas of the small site. There's a lot to see, but we are set in a natural environment, with old buildings that are not DDA compliant. The Old Chapel is wheelchair accessible and we have plenty of seats around the site for taking a break! As this is our first year, we won't get everything perfect, but we're trying really hard and need you to tell us if there's something you need. This is your festival!
Are there accessible toilets and washing facilities? There is one shower! There are sinks and disabled toilets, as well as composting toilets and limited kitchen facilities.
What about food and drink? There will not be food trucks onsite as we're small. There is a tuck shop! You are welcome to bring your own food, drink and camping stoves. Please be aware of the environment and your choices.
Is there somewhere accessible to stay? We have very limited spaces that are more accessible, such as a yurt or bell-tent, but you will need to bring a bed and bedding. Please get in touch if this is something you need and we will do our best to support you.
Can I bring alcohol? Yes, you can bring your own alcohol, but there won't be any to buy onsite.
What about BBQs and firepits? Please do not bring disposable BBQs. There will be communal fires to gather around. There are animals around Old Chapel Farm so we are cautious of wildfires (yes, it can be hot and dry in Wales!) and we strongly believe in sustainable, communal events, so please think about what you really need and just ask us if there's something you need in particular! #OnePlanetLoveIt
Can I get involved and help out? Yes! We've only got a relatively small site, but help is always welcome. Just drop us a line with your information and we'll send you a volunteer form. Alternatively, you could consider joining Gig Buddies or volunteering with a local group?
